The infrastructure of Iraq has seen little in improvement since the reign of Saddam Hussein ended in 2003 with the U.S. invasion. Today, the capital city of Baghdad receives at most 6 hours of electricity a day. To deal with the immense gap between supply and demand, a new occupation has arisen to provide power to the masses.
